Bringing Adventure to the lives of others
Formed in 2004, Ascent is the first dedicated provider of its kind of adventure based on fundraising events for the charitable sector within the UK and Ireland.
Whether you're a Charity or wishing to raise funds for a charitable cause we deliver a service that can enable you to benefit from the experience that others receive from adventure. All of our events are tailored to meet with the needs of both the organising body and their intended participants, alternatively we can design a completely new event/challenge entirely unique to your organisation.
Whether it's urban or rural, large or small, indoor or outdoor, formal or informal, mild or really really wild, we can deliver our service UK and Ireland wide.
Alternatively, we have out own state of the art centre located on the East Coast of Ireland, situated on the edge of the Mourne Mountains mid way between the Sea Loughs of Carlingford and Strangford in the beautiful Castlewellan Forest Park. Housed within an 18th Century courtyard, our new facility offers the perfect base or start point for the many adventures we offer both on site, locally and across the UK and Ireland.
We provide everything that you need including:
- A simple user-friendly Booking System with dedicated Administration Support
- A full-time Team of Professional Coaches, Guides, Instructors and Facilitators
- An Experienced based consultative Design Process and Event Management Service to include Advice and Support for Charities on Adventure Based Events and relevant Technical and Logistical Support
- A comprehensive in-house range of Modern Equipment including Transport
- An extensive Safety Management System to include Child Protection and Environmental Protection
- A fully inclusive Civil Liability Insurance Policy (£5 million indemnity)
