Breezmount Farm

Taking the finest mohair fleeces from our Angora goats, we produce the highest quality knitting yarn before turning to a small band of the finest hand-knitters throughout the land to create a wide range of sweaters. Using age-old techniques and hand-frame knitting machines once used in the manufacture of Nottingham lace, we have produce for us distinctive web-like stoles and scarves. Random dyeing adds hints of bright and harmonious colourings, ensuring that each piece catches the eye of the beholder.

We also use our yarns to produce the warmest of mohair socks. Believe me, when you farm goats on the windswept Ards Peninsula, you know all about what makes good socks! Named after six of the old counties of Ulster, our six ranges combine our mohair yarn with a touch of durability. If you were to believe a number of our customers, Breezemount socks will have you thinking you are "walking on air".
