Enjoy a wonderful day out watching and learning about some of your most exciting wildlife - and help to WWT protect it at the same time.
WWT Castle Espie, on the shores of the magical Strangford Lough, is one the nine centres in Britain and Ireland run by the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT), a charity with over 50 years experience in conserving wetlands and their beautiful wildlife.
Bird hides and nature walks allow you to get really close to both the native wildfowl and our collection of endangered birds from around the world. Try our delicious home made food in the coffee shop, take home a gift from the craft shop, and talk to our friendly wardens for help and information.
