Fishing Villages
Northern Ireland's key fishing villages are located in the South Eastern Corner of the province.
They are dotted along the County Down coastline stretching approximately 40 miles, straddling the three District Council area of Newry and Mourne, Down and Ards, and encapsulating the four core villages and ports of Kilkeel, Annalong, Ardglass and Portavogie.
It is an unspoiled coastline punctuated by these charming and picturesque fishing villages each offering its own unique features, contrasting landscape, coastal forms, rich history and archaeology, intriguing topography and panoramic scenery.
